Lyme Spirochetes and Co-infections

 

Lyme disease has become an epidemic, affecting almost every household in New England but it has spread throughout the world. In addition to the borrelia spirochete, there are numerous co-infections that complicate the treatment of infected patients. Many plants are being tested for their efficacy in treating Lyme disease, bartonella, babesia, and other infections.

 

Spilanthes

Also called the toothache plant, spilanthes can be mixed with clove buds and pepper and applied directly to teeth (this must be repeated frequently.)

 
Chameleon Plant
Houttuynia cordata

The Flowering Chameleon Plant
It is a ground cover and grows like ivy.
