This page is finally coming together. We want to launch it with information on bees, our major pollinators. Without bees and butterflies and other pollinators, we would not have fruit or vegetables or most nuts. Last year (2012), the U.S. lost one third of its bees to "colony collapse disorder." That is the official figure, the actual is estimated to be much higher. The best reponse to to this crisis is apparently urban gardening, including roof top hives. However, anyone and everyone should plant flowers that nourish our pollinators.
